39th Annual Convention & Competition February 28, 29 & March 1, 2020

The convention & lodging will be in the same building. The room rates are $94 per night. Reserve your room at (501) 490-1000 and tell them you are with the Arkansas Taxidermist Association. Please call this number only for reservations to insure all rooms gets credited to the block reserved for the ATA. We must reserve a certain number of rooms in order to waive the charge for the facility. We would appreciate it if you don’t use a 3rd party reservation site such as Expedia, Trivago,Booking.com, etc. because the ATA doesn’t get credit for the room. The hotel will offer shuttle service to the Rivermarket District for shopping for anyone interested. See front desk.
Billy Ollie will judge birds & waterfowl, Vince Spellane will judge whitetails & fish and Jason Krause will judge lifesize & gameheads. This year, the President’s Challenge will be a raccoon.
We are excited about all of the awards we will have again this year. We also have several suppliers that may possibly be joining us- James Taxidermy, Jim Allred Taxidermy, Ohio Taxidermy Supply, Seminole Fur Dressing, Research Mannikins, McKenzie Taxidermy, Payer Eyes, Ozark Woods, Beetle Shack, drift wood suppliers and maybe more.
We’ve changed things up a little- we still encourage pre-registration (paying dues & convention registration fee), but, you will pay for any mount entries at the show. Remember, CHECKS OR CASH ONLY. The hotel has an ATM in their lobby.
Banquet info – We will have a buffet catered by the hotel. Tickets can be purchased at the show.

Donations are needed for the convention’s silent and live auctions. If you have a new or gently used item you would like to donate, please bring it to the show and see Hallie Henderson or Lisa Huggs.
